On the contrary, it will make the fabric have a natural soft feel. However, hairiness over 3mm in length is a potential factor affecting yarn quality.

Different twisting processes produce different yarn structures and product characteristics.

1, strong

Yarn strength depends on the holding force and friction between the fibers. If the fiber form and arrangement state is not good, that is, there are bending, circling, folding, winding and other fibers exist, which is equivalent to reducing the fiber length, weakening the fiber contact degree, thus easy to produce slip between fibers, reduce the yarn strength.

According to the test, if the strength of ring spun yarn is 1, then the strength of other types of yarn is 0.8 ~ 0.9, 0.6 ~ 0.7, 0.8 and 1.15 respectively.

Because most of the traditional ring spinning fibers are helical, when repeated friction, the helical fibers gradually become axial fibers, and the yarn is easy to lose twist and break up quickly, so the wear resistance is poor.

Non-traditional spinning has obvious advantage in resistance to wear, rotor yarn, jet yarn and vortex yarn consists of two parts, outsourcing core yarn and fiber, yarn surface with irregular wrapping fibre, yarn is not easy to collapse, at the same time, the yarn surface friction coefficient is big, between the yarn in the fabric and yarn as well is good, not easy to produce relative sliding, so the wear resistance improved.

Compared with ring spun yarns, the fibers of compact spinning are arranged neatly and straight, and the yarns have a tight structure, which is not easy to break off. Therefore, the yarns have good wear resistance.

4, twist

Twist is also an important characteristic of yarn and determines some of the characteristics of the fabric, such as the inclination of the knitted fabric.

Traditional ring and compact yarns are true twist yarns, which have a high twist potential and tend to produce the warp and hem of knitted fabrics.

The low twist potential is determined by the yarn structure of rotary cup yarn, air-jet yarn and eddy current yarn. There are both Z twist and S twist in rotary cup yarn, so the twist potential is the lowest.
